Tom Brennan

Tom Brennan has worked in a variety of roles in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and life sciences industries. Tom began their career in 1998 as a Pharmaceutical Development Manager at IVAX. In 2005, they co-founded EirGen Pharma. From 2013 to 2022, they were the Co-Founder and Director of Q1 Scientific Ltd., which was acquired by Cambrex in May 2022. In 2015, they became the CTO of Ireland at OPKO Health, Inc. and the Chapter Chair of Ireland at YPO. In 2017, they became a Foundation Board Member at the National Maternity Hospital and took a break from work. In 2018, they became a Non-Executive Director at Crest Solutions and Co-Founder and Director at TriviumVet. In 2020, they became a Non-Executive Director at Shorla Oncology.

Tom Brennan has a diverse educational background. Tom completed a Diploma in Analytical Science in Chemistry from the Institute of Technology, Carlow in 1990. Tom then went on to earn a B.Sc in Chemistry from Munster Technological University in 1996. In 2000, they obtained an M.Sc in Industrial Pharmaceutical Science from The University of Manchester. Tom then obtained an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Limerick in 2005. In 2006, they earned a Q.P. (Qualified Person) from The University of Manchester. Most recently, they completed a Chartered Director from the Institute of Directors (IoD) in 2020.
