Sofia Tulupova

Sofia Tulupova's work experience includes serving as a Principal in the Private Credit Practice at Shorooq Partners since February 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Europe and MENAP in Private Debt Financing at Symbiotics from January 2019 to December 2022. Sofia also worked as a Senior Investment Analyst and Investment Analyst in Financial Institutions Debt at Symbiotics from March 2018 to December 2018 and from September 2015 to March 2018, respectively. Before that, they worked in Analysis and Advisory for Equity & Mezzanine Debt Investments at European Capital from May 2013 to July 2015. Additionally, Sofia had internships at SKAD Light Alloy Wheels as a Corporate Finance Intern from June 2010 to May 2011, and at Rosneft as a Financial Reporting Intern from December 2009 to April 2010.

Sofia Tulupova has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance, General from Grenoble Ecole de Management, which they obtained between 2011 and 2013. Before that, they received a Bachelor's degree in International Economics from Сибирский федеральный университет, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. Sofia also holds a certification in Foundations of Venture Capital from Columbia Business School, which was obtained in 2023.
