Merin Varkey

Merin Varkey is an experienced professional in the insurance industry, currently serving as Senior Technical Manager for Property & Casualty at Shory since October 2021, after holding the position of Technical Manager in the same area. Prior experience includes working as a Liabilities Underwriter for Oman Insurance Company from April 2015 to October 2021 and as Deputy Underwriter for Casualty at International General Insurance from January 2013 to February 2015. Merin's career began at RSA Insurance Group, where a role as Assistant Casualty Underwriter was held from April 2007 to January 2013. Educational qualifications include a CIP from the Insurance Institute of Ontario, a Fellowship from the Insurance Institute of India, and an ACII from CII, among others.
