Alejandro Zapata Gutierrez

Alejandro Zapata Gutierrez is a Senior Mechanical Engineer currently involved in the San Nicolás New Dock Project at Shougang Hierro Perú S.A.A., overseeing a significant iron ore shipping system. Previously, Alejandro served as Head of Electromechanics for the modernization project of Salaverry Port at Redram and held the position of Superintendent of Electromechanics for the Talara Refinery modernization at Grupo Graña y Montero. Alejandro's extensive experience includes leadership roles across various projects, such as Mechanical Works Lead at HAUG S.A. and Site Manager at Cobra Perú, contributing to significant infrastructure projects, including a water treatment plant for Pluspetrol. Alejandro is an Electrical Mechanical Engineer by training, with additional qualifications in project management from the Universidad de Piura.
