Aline Barth has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics. Aline most recently served as the Vice President and Head of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics at Structure Therapeutics since July 2023. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director and Head of Clinical Pharmacology at Global Blood Therapeutics, which was later acquired by Pfizer. Aline also worked as a Lecturer at the Drug Development in Brazil (DDiB) Network from August 2017 to August 2021. Aline held positions at GSK, first as a Director of Clinical Pharmacology Modeling and Simulation from September 2019 to June 2021, and before that as a Manager in the same department from June 2017 to September 2019. Aline's earlier experiences include working as a Senior Scientist at Merck from August 2014 to May 2017, and pursuing their PhD in Clinical Pharmacology Modeling and Simulation at the University of Florida from 2010 to 2014. Aline also briefly worked at GSK in 2012 and served as a Quality Assurance and Quality Control professional at Bayer HealthCare from 2006 to 2008. Aline's early career began at UFRGS, where they worked in the Biochemistry Department from 2002 to 2004.
Aline Barth received their Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in 2007. Aline went on to pursue a Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the same university, which they completed in 2010. During this time, they also earned a degree in Industrial Pharmacy. Aline then furthered their education at the University of Florida, where they obtained a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2014.
