Peter Rozental

Peter Rozental has an extensive work history in software engineering and development. Peter began their career in 2002 as a Senior Application Developer at Websoft Developers, where they worked with a team of developers to maintain and develop GIS web applications for city, county and local government customers. In 2010, they joined AVB Marketing as a Director of Development, where they led a development team in a rapid growth period, hiring 15+ developers and driving feature development to surpass competition. Peter was later promoted to Senior Director of Development, where they expanded the development teams and Dev Ops department, introducing better standards and practices for software development. Peter also mentored team managers and product owners to take a more active role in product development, and led all technical teams in a localization effort to onboard 120 additional ecommerce sites. In the same year, they also joined Torus Marketing as a New Media Project Manager, where they led a team of PHP and . NET developers to rapidly architect and develop a multi tenant shared code ecommerce solution to serve independent retailers in the appliance, mattress, electronics and furniture space. Peter was responsible for onboarding 200+ websites and establishing a process for internal teams to efficiently manage development and maintenance. In 2022, they joined Highlight as a Software Engineering Manager.

Peter Rozental attended the University of California, Davis from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
