Mark Yeend serves as the Chief Media Officer at SHRAPNEL since October 2021, focusing on transmedia, music and sound, earned media, and trailers. Prior to this role, Mark was the Head of Marcom & Community and Chief Monetization Officer at NEON, where responsibilities included developing product strategies to attract and retain audiences. Mark's experience at HBO as Director of Product for Interactive R&D involved directing innovations for emerging platforms and interactive extensions of HBO properties. Previously, during a 11-year tenure at Microsoft, Mark held multiple roles including Content Director for the Advanced Technology Group and Central Teams, contributing significantly to Xbox exclusive titles and overseeing large audio and art teams. Earlier experience includes serving as Music & Audio Director at Amaze Entertainment. Mark holds a BA in General Studies from the University of Washington.
