LaTanya Jackson Wilson serves as the Vice President of Advocacy at the Shriver Center on Poverty Law since January 2022, focusing on economic and racial justice for individuals living in poverty. Previously, LaTanya chaired and served as vice chair at iLEAD School Spring Meadows from May 2016 to June 2022, and acted as the Director of Advocacy at Legal Aid of Western Ohio from March 2019 to January 2022. Additional legal experience includes positions as an attorney at the Law Office of LaTanya R. Wilson, LLC, and as an associate at Anspach Meeks Ellenberger LLP, where LaTanya specialized in healthcare compliance and estate administration. Earlier career roles included staff attorney at UAW Legal Service Plans, assistant state public defender at the Ohio Public Defender’s Office, legal intern at the Legal Aid Society of Columbus, and judicial extern at the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas. LaTanya earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science/History from Morris College.
