Achim Gleissner

Achim Gleissner has a wealth of experience in the audio industry, with their most recent role being the Senior Director of Global Business Development at Shure Incorporated since 2018. Prior to that, they held positions at Sennheiser as the Head of Commercial Management Broadcast & Media from 2015 to 2017, and as the Innovation Concepts Manager from 2010 to 2014. Earlier in their career, Gleissner served as the President of Klein + Hummel at Sennheiser Electronic GmbH & Co.KG from 2005 to 2010. Achim also worked at Sennheiser electronic as the Director of Future Concepts from 2003 to 2005, and as the Director of Product Marketing from 1998 to 2002. Gleissner's experience also includes roles as the Director of Product Marketing at Blaupunkt from 1991 to 1998, the Strategy Business Planning Manager at Novatel Communications from 1990 to 1991, and as a Development Engineer of Mobile Phones at Bosch Communication in Berlin from 1987 to 1990.

Achim Gleissner received their M. Sc. in Electronic Engineering from Ruhr University Bochum from 1981 to 1987.
