Matt McCracken

Matt McCracken is an experienced audio DSP engineer currently working at Shure Incorporated since February 2019, focusing on the integration of digital signal processing within hardware and software systems using MATLAB and C++. Prior experience includes positions as a DSP Software Engineer at Motorola Solutions and a Digital Signal Processing Intern at Shure, where Matt prototyped and validated real-time audio processing algorithms. Earlier roles include a research assistant position at the Bioacoustics Research Lab at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an internship at SAI - Switchboard Apparatus, Inc. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed in 2018.
