Ross Penniman

Ross Penniman is a skilled audio digital signal processing engineer with extensive experience in developing and validating algorithms for professional wireless microphones, conferencing audio products, and consumer audio products at Shure Incorporated since August 2014. Prior roles include positions as Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Miami, where Ross taught Digital Audio I, and Research Intern at Fraunhofer IIS, focusing on 3D audio reverberation software development. Ross also managed a large-format recording studio at the University of Miami and worked as an engineer at API Audio, contributing to product development and PCB layout. Ross holds an M.S. in Music Engineering Technology from the University of Miami and dual degrees (BS in Sound Engineering and BMusic in Music Technology) from the University of Michigan.
