Sameh Sabet

Sameh Sabet has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Sameh is currently the Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer at Shure Incorporated, starting from 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at Crestron Electronics, including Senior Vice President - Engineering, Vice President - Engineering, Managing Director - Engineering, and Senior Manager of Linux/Android Products. Sameh established and developed a new engineering center, growing the team and handling all aspects of product development, quality assurance, technical support, and sales. Sameh also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Southern Methodist University, and Monmouth University, where they taught graduate-level courses on various subjects related to engineering and telecommunications. In addition, they have held positions at Tyco Telecommunications (now known as TE SubCom), Tycom, AT&T Submarine Systems/TSSL, and Union Camp Corporation, where they gained experience in network management, firmware development, system administration, and IT security. Overall, Sameh Sabet has a strong background in technology and engineering leadership roles, as well as experience in education and academia.

Sameh Sabet has a Ph.D. in Information Systems/Management from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, which they obtained between 2000 and 2006. Before that, they completed a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications/EE at the same institution from 1998 to 1999. Prior to their master's degree, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology between 1995 and 1998. Their undergraduate studies began at The American University in Cairo, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from 1993 to 1997.
