Josh Staley's work experience begins in 2001 at Newell Brands, where they started as a Field Sales Representative. Josh worked with Wal-Mart store managers to secure retail space for Rubbermaid products and negotiated space for cross-merchandising products with department managers. Josh later became a Training Specialist, responsible for training sales representatives on product knowledge and sales skills, as well as developing relationships with key customers. Josh then became a Territory Sales Manager and achieved a 35% increase in sales in 2005. Josh continued to excel in sales, becoming a Sales Manager and achieving 17% sales growth in the southeast region of the US in 2007 and 2008. In 2008, they transitioned to the role of Product Manager, overseeing product development, P&L, marketing, and category management for two product categories within the IRWIN Tools brand. Josh increased net sales by 10% and gross profit margin by 15%. In 2010, Josh became a National Account Manager, responsible for managing all Newell Brands sales at Fastenal and overseeing HVAC commercial accounts for the Tools and Hardware group. Finally, as of October 2019, Josh is the Director of Sales at Shurtape Technologies, LLC.

Josh Staley attended Western Carolina University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing.
