Gaurav Kant

Gaurav Kant has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Gaurav is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Spectra since September 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited from April 2020 to September 2020. At Sterling, they also served as the Vice President Finance from December 2019 to April 2020 and as the Assistant Vice President Finance from July 2018 to December 2019.

Before joining Sterling, Gaurav worked at airtel, where they held various roles including DGM - Airtel Africa Strategic Support from March 2018 to June 2018, DGM - Finance Airtel Business (Global Business) from October 2014 to March 2018, Head- Business Planning and consumer insights from October 2013 to October 2014, and Business Planning and Consumer Insights - Manager from October 2012 to October 2013.

Prior to airtel, they worked at Telenor as a Business Performance Manager for the Karnataka telecom circle from October 2009 to October 2012. Gaurav was responsible for financial planning and analysis, month-end financial closure activities, business analytics, evaluating business cases, policy governance, and channel accounting.

Gaurav also has previous experience at Vodafone Essar South Private Limited, where they worked as a Deputy Manager from September 2007 to October 2009. Gaurav began their career at EY, where they served as a Senior Executive from March 2007 to September 2007 and as an Executive from December 2005 to March 2007. At EY, they were involved in financial statement audit, business process review, internal audit, tax audit support, and attestation functions for SoX Compliance.

Gaurav Kant completed a Management Development Program at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in IFRS from ACCA in 2009-2010. Gaurav also holds a CA degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, which they earned from 2002 to 2005. In 2001-2003, Gaurav completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a field of study in Finance from Kanpur University, India. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn in various areas such as critical thinking, strategic thinking, and improving collaboration.
