Joshua Sherbin

Joshua Sherbin joined The Shyft Group in May, 2021 as Chief Legal Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and Corporate Secretary for the organization. Sherbin brings with him more than two decades of corporate legal and compliance experience to the role, with deep specialization in mergers and acquisitions, strategic Board leadership, intellectual property, and capital markets law. Prior to Shyft, Sherbin served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Corporate Secretary at TriMas Corporation, a publicly traded diversified industrial manufacturing company. Previously, he served for eight years as North American Corporate Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Valeo, a publicly traded diversified Tier 1 automotive supplier headquartered in France, in addition to publicly traded Kelly Services, a leading professional staffing organization. Sherbin began his career at Butzel Long, a Michigan based law firm. He holds a juris doctor from Wayne State University Law School and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Kalamazoo College.
