Ryan McKenna

Ryan McKenna is an experienced electrical engineering professional with a strong background in product management, technical sales, and project leadership within the automotive and rail sectors. Currently serving as Electrical Engineering Manager at The Shyft Group since July 2021, Ryan previously held positions as Senior Product Engineer and Technical Sales Specialist at AVL. Notable achievements include leading the development of the medium-duty Track Testing Vehicle at Holland LP and overseeing the electrical architecture for the F125 passenger locomotive at Progress Rail Services Corporation. Ryan's experience also includes roles at Sterling Engineering, DaimlerChrysler, Chrysler, and Lear Corporation, alongside an academic foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University and an MBA in Project Management from Lawrence Technological University.
