Alkin Gunbay

Alkin Gunbay is a Master Thesis Student at LINKS Foundation since March 2022, focusing on Relation Extraction in Natural Language Processing with plans for academic publication. As a Software Engineer at Shyld AI, Alkin is involved in developing a ROS2 pipeline for a UV-based disinfection robot. Previously, as an Autonomous Driving Software Engineer at Alp Engineering (now Henka Robotics), significant contributions were made to three robotics projects from October 2019 to June 2021. Alkin also served as a Student Assistant at Izmir University of Economics on an electric vehicle project and interned at UPTECHLABS, working on automotive projects related to autonomous vehicle technology. Alkin holds a Master of Science in Data Science and Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Izmir University of Economics.
