Amanda McHugh

Amanda McHugh is a Data Science Consultant at Sia Partners since June 2023, having previously held the role of Associate Consultant in the same field. Prior experience includes work as a Translator and Editor at the University of Cambridge, where crucial contributions were made to the publication of von Kempelen's "The Mechanism of Human Speech" in January 2022. Amanda also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant under Dr. Bert Vaux, focusing on editing and collating a phrasebook for the Cwyzhy Dialect of Abkhaz, and as a Research Intern, enhancing translations of Wolfgang von Kempelen's 1792 work "Le mécanisme de la parole." Academic qualifications include a Master of Philosophy in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics and a degree in Linguistics, both from the University of Cambridge.
