Denis Zubovas

Denis Zubovas has extensive work experience in credit risk management and control. Denis currently holds the position of Head of Credit Risk Management and Control Department at Šiaulių Bankas, a role they started in October 2020. Previously, they were the Head of Credit Risk Management Unit at Šiaulių Bankas from April 2020 to October 2020.

Prior to their current role, Zubovas worked at Luminor Group as the Country Credit Controller in Group Credit Risk Management and Control from October 2019 to April 2020. Before that, they worked at SEB as the Head Of Unit, Global Services from October 2018 to September 2019.

Zubovas also has experience in credit risk management and collection at Luminor Group, where they served as a Team leader from December 2015 to September 2018. Denis has also worked in credit risk management and restructuring at Danske Bank Lithuania as a Senior Project Manager from June 2010 to December 2015.

Additionally, Zubovas has experience in special credit management and special assets management at SEB Lietuvoje and DNB, where they held the positions of Project Manager from November 2008 to June 2010 and Senior Expert from November 2006 to November 2008, respectively.

Denis started their career at Creditreform Lietuva as the Deputy Head of Credit Information Unit, a position they held from July 2003 to December 2006.

Denis Zubovas holds a Master's Degree in Business Management, Accounting and Audit from Vilnius University, although the specific start and end years for this education are not provided. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Diploma in Credit Management from the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) in November 2016. In January 2023, they obtained the International Certificate in Financial Services Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management.
