Qingyao Huang

Qingyao Huang is a bioinformatician at the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics since September 2021, with prior experience as a PhD candidate at the University of Zurich from April 2017 to August 2021, focusing on meta-analysis of oncogenomics data and statistical modeling in cancer research. Previous roles include research scientist positions at EPFL, where work involved systems genetics and bile acid quantification, and at the Max Delbrück Center, specializing in CRISPR-Cas9 genomic engineering. Additionally, Qingyao served as a quality assurance specialist at Gilupi GmbH and completed an internship at the German Cancer Research Center, conducting breast cancer-related research. Qingyao holds a Master’s Degree in Molecular Medicine from Charité Universitätsmedizin and a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from Jacobs University Bremen.
