Chris Wooten is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the mining and metallurgical industries. Currently serving as Business Systems Manager at Sibanye-Stillwater since January 2019, Chris previously held multiple roles at Freeport-McMoRan from June 2007 to December 2018, including Superintendent of SX Operations and Chief Metallurgist for Leaching. Earlier career experience includes positions as Process Engineering Intern at Holcim and Engineering Technician Intern at Cotter Corporation. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, obtained in 2007.
