Michael Pitt

Michael Pitt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Michael currently holds the position of Vice President Business Development at Sibanye-Stillwater since 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Non Executive Director at Pacgold starting in 2020. From 2017 to 2023, Michael worked at New Century Resources, first as the Head Of Development and then as the Manager Special Projects. Michael served as the Managing Director at Extract Mine Water Solutions from 2016 to 2021. Before that, they were a Principal at BHP Billiton from 2013 to 2016. Michael also held the position of Manager - Development at Associated Water from 2011 to 2013. Michael started their career at Clean TeQ Limited, initially as a Project Engineer/Project Manager from 2007 to 2010, and later as a Sales Executive from 2010 to 2011.

Michael Pitt obtained a Diploma in Project Management from the Australian Institute of Project Management in 2008. From 2002 to 2006, they studied at the University of Melbourne, earning a dual degree in Chemical Engineering and Genetics. Michael then completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Western Australia from 2015 to 2017, followed by another MBA at The University of Queensland from 2017 to 2018.
