Jong Yoon Lee

Jong Yoon Lee is the Vice President of Software Engineering at Sibel Health. Jong has also served as the Principal Software Engineer and CBIE - Software Engineering Advisor at Northwestern University. Jong has 4 years of experience working at Sibel Health, where they have been responsible for leading an onsite/offshore software team of 30 to develop wireless bio-patches systems for monitoring vital signals. In addition, they have also driven software regulatory strategy to ensure procedural compliance with ISO13485 and IOS62304. Jong has also published software documentation for 510k submission as well as developed product specification that captures user needs, aligning with organizational strategy. Jong has also created next generation prototypes for human testing and market research, while working on technically writing for SBIRs, Grants, and SoWs for client projects. Some of their key achievements include developing a remote patient monitoring system to provide comprehensive care for chronic care management and sleep apnea diagnosis, establishing the company as a co-founder and growing it to 50 people, and spearheading the development of software infrastructure and data analysis of a long-term monitoring of 325 Covid-19 patients to accumulate 70K hours funded by the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC).

Jong Yoon Lee has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Jong is also AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
