Dr. Roopa Dhatt is an accomplished medical professional and leader in global health, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Georgetown University and a Hospitalist at both MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and Sibley Memorial Hospital. In addition, Dr. Dhatt holds the title of Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum. A prominent figure in advocating for gender equality in global health leadership, Dr. Dhatt has been the Executive Director of Women in Global Health since March 2015, overseeing strategic planning, fundraising, and community outreach. Dr. Dhatt's past roles include visiting researcher at the University of Miami, internist at Kaiser Permanente, and partnerships consultant at The World Bank. Dr. Dhatt's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis, an MD from Temple University, and an MPA in Public Policy from Sciences Po.
