João Margato

João Margato worked as a Data Scientist at SIBS starting from February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Closer Consulting as a Consultant from April 2022 to February 2023 and as a Trainee from October 2021 to March 2022.

João Margato has a solid educational background in economics and applied econometrics. João completed their Master of Science (MS) in Applied Econometrics and Forecasting from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management, from the years 2020 to 2023. Prior to this, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics from the same institution, between 2017 and 2020.

In addition to their formal education, João Margato has also pursued additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. João completed the "Big Data with PySpark Track" certification from DataCamp in March 2022. João also obtained certifications in "Introduction to Machine Learning in Production" and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera in January 2022.

With their strong educational background and additional certifications, João Margato is equipped with expertise in applied econometrics, forecasting, and relevant skills in big data and machine learning.
