Nelson João

Nelson João started their work experience as a Junior Software Developer Mobile at Viatecla in November 2011. Nelson then became a Techinal Product Manager, responsible for the mobile product Nicereader. Nelson was involved in requirements gathering, team management, app publication, and the implementation of in-app purchases. At Novabase, they worked as a Professional Mobile developer, focusing on developing new features and maintaining mobile applications using various technologies. Nelson then joined Gfi Portugal as a Senior Mobile Developer, where they architected, led, and developed two projects for a final client. Nelson was responsible for developing native iOS and Android apps and supporting and developing the Android project. Nelson worked at BOLD International as a Senior Mobile Developer at SIBS for a short period before returning to SIBS as a Senior mobile developer. Currently, they hold the roles of Tech Lead and Digital POS Engineering Manager at SIBS.

Nelson João attended Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bacharelado em Engenharia degree in Ciências da Computação e Informática.
