Gustavo Santos

Gustavo Santos has a diverse work experience in various companies. Gustavo is currently serving as the Head of Sales South America at SICK Sensor Intelligence since April 2022. Before that, they worked at Emerson Automation Solutions from 2017 to 2022, where they held the positions of Business Development Manager, Latin America - PRV and Application and Sales Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Pentair from 2012 to 2017, serving as the Regional Accounts Manager and Channel Sales Rep, Customer Service & Marketing Manager, and Customer Service Manager. Gustavo also worked at Invensys - Acquired by Schneider Electric as a Client Sales Executive - Power from 2011 to 2012, and at CPFL from 2005 to 2011, where they held positions such as Project Manager, Business Manager, Business Analyst, and Trainee. Gustavo started their career as an Assistant Electrical Technician at Anelmar Comércio Locação e Serviços Ltda from 2001 to 2004.

Gustavo Santos pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electronics from Universidade Santa Cecília, from 2000 to 2006. In 2004, they took part in a scientific initiation program in Microelectronics at Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse. Gustavo furthered their studies with a Marketing postgraduate program at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie from 2006 to 2008. Gustavo also completed an MBA in Business Management in the Energy sector at Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2008 to 2010. Lastly, they pursued a Postgraduate degree in Project Management at USP - Universidade de São Paulo in 2009.
