Fcca Mubashra Sattar

Mubashra Sattar, FCCA has extensive work experience in finance and auditing roles. Mubashra started their career as a Senior Audit Incharge at A.F. Ferguson & Co, Chartered Accountants, where they were responsible for conducting financial audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Mubashra then worked at MBC, Dubai, where they analyzed operating costs and implemented cost reduction processes. After that, they joined Etisalat Dubai as a Financial & Operational Auditor, focusing on evaluating operational controls and ensuring the application of IFRS company-wide. Currently, they are working at SICPA, where they have held various roles, including Finance Manager, Financial Controller, and Company Secretary. In their current position as Head of Finance and Company Secretary, their responsibilities include overseeing the finance function, reporting to the group, and conducting yearly appraisals of finance staff.

Mubashra Sattar, FCCA pursued their education in the field of accounting, finance, and auditing. From 1998 to 2001, they attended the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant and obtained their ACCA degree. In 2007, they further enhanced their expertise by studying internal auditing at The Institute of Internal Auditor, USA, culminating in a CIA degree by 2008. Later in the same year, they pursued a Certification in IFRS at ICAEW, specializing in accounting standards.
