Helena Sancho

Helena Sancho is an experienced professional specializing in international development, human rights, and rule of law. Currently serving as Regional Samordnare för Östeuropa and Teamledare Årsredovisning 2023 at Sida since August 2021, Helena has previously held significant roles at the Folke Bernadotteakademin, including Senior Specialist Rule of Law and Acting Head of Programme Rule of Law. At the Embassy of Sweden in Tbilisi, Helena contributed as First Secretary Development Cooperation. Helena's extensive career commenced in legal analysis with the OSCE and involved positions with the Comision Andina de Juristas and Internationella Juristkommissionen. Helena holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Public Law from Uppsala University and a Gymnasieexamen from Kungsholmens Musikgymnasium.
