Guillermo Montalvo has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Guillermo began their career as a Co-Owner of an import business called El Puestito - Trading Startup, where they successfully spearheaded the importation of promotional and gadget items from China. During their time there, they also created a below-the-line (BTL) strategy and supervised sales and strategies on social media and at bazaars.

Guillermo then moved on to work at Newell Brands, starting as a Trade Marketing Assistant, where they developed and launched special packs for different sales channels and planned and implemented reward contests and loyalty programs. Guillermo later became a Junior Sales Representative, managing the MRO Key Account and negotiating key account in-store displays, leading to a significant increase in sales. Finally, they worked as a Business Development Specialist, responsible for demand generation for Rubbermaid Commercial Products in various industries.

In 2017, Guillermo joined April English as a Project Coordinator, where they led academic and coaching sessions for foreign teachers and actively participated in the education of over 120 students.

In 2019, they joined U-tec as a Product Marketing Associate, supporting the growth and expansion of the B2C market share for a Chinese-American smart home brand in the U.S.

Most recently, in 2021, Guillermo joined SideChef as a Growth Marketing Manager, where they use their expertise to drive growth initiatives for the company.

Guillermo Montalvo pursued their education at the Universidad Panamericana. From 2008 to 2013, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Business Administration. Later, in 2015 and 2016, they further expanded their knowledge by earning a Specialist degree in PR and Advertising from the same institution. All of their educational pursuits took place in Mexico.
