Mitchell Mudra is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Sidekick. Prior to that, they served as the National Director of Program and Product Development for the Optum Center for Palliative and Supportive Care at UnitedHealth Group from May 2015 to May 2019. In this role, they were responsible for the performance, growth and innovation of palliative and supportive care programs across Optum. As the business leader of the Center for Palliative and Supportive Care, Mitchell was accountable for bringing together industry expertise to foster transformational change in the healthcare system, creating an enterprise that empowers person- and family-centered care, and ensuring that every patient facing serious illness gets the right care to live their best possible life.
From February 2017 to May 2019, Mitchell also served as the Chief Operating Officer, Palliative Care at UnitedHealth Group, responsible for the performance, growth and delivery of palliative and supportive care programs across Optum. In this role, they were accountable for bringing together industry expertise to foster transformational change in the healthcare system, creating an enterprise that empowers person- and family-centered care, and ensuring that every patient facing serious illness gets the right care to live their best possible life.

Mitchell Mudra attended the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School for an Executive Development Program and the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management for an MBA in Management with a focus in the Medical Industry Leadership Institute (MILI). Mitchell Mudra's undergraduate degree is in Chemistry from St. Olaf College.
