Prof. Younes Mokrab

Prof. Younes Mokrab, PhD has a diverse work experience in various prestigious institutions. Prof. Younes held positions such as Associate Professor at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Lead Scientist at Eli Lilly and Company, and Senior Scientist at Lonza Biologics Plc. Additionally, they served as Adjunct Professor at Qatar University and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine. Currently, they are actively involved at Sidra Medicine in roles such as A/Director of Population Genomic Medicine Department, Lead of Neurological Disorders Research Program, and Principal Investigator in Medical and Population Genomics. Their past experiences include roles at University of Oxford, Harvard Medical School, and Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute. Prof. Mokrab has made significant contributions in the fields of genetics and biomedical sciences throughout their career.

Prof. Younes Mokrab earned a BSc in Genetics from The University of Sheffield in 2003. Prof. Younes then continued their education by obtaining a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of Cambridge between 2003 and 2007. Before this, in 2000, they completed an IELTS program in English for Academic Studies at The University of Manchester.
