Nuno Alves is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in technical support and infrastructure roles. Currently serving as a Senior Site Support Specialist at Sidul Açúcares since December 2022, Nuno previously worked at WorkSet oHG as an EUC Desktop Engineering Support / IM where responsibilities included IT analysis for Xerox Portugal. Prior to that, Nuno provided 2nd Line Engineering Support for Atos Consulting and engaged in various IT support and consulting roles at Compta, including significant projects for companies such as IBM PT and the Assembleia da República. Nuno began their career as an IT Technician at Zagope, specializing in technical support.

With a turnover of around EUR 156 million, Sidul is the largest sugar refinery in the country. The Portuguese and Spanish markets represent over 90% of the sugar produced.
