Adam Hymel has a diverse range of work experience. Adam began their career as an Engineer in Training at Siemens Energy, where they completed a one-year training program and earned a performance award. Adam then served as a Generator Specialist/Field Engineer, taking on leading roles in major generator repairs and performing electrical testing on turbine generators.

Adam then transitioned to the role of Assistant District Service Manager, where they supported Florida districts with outage initiation, planning, and execution. Adam also functioned as a district project manager and ensured appropriate outage resources and vendors were secured.

After that, Adam became a Long Term Service Programs Project Manager, where they managed Long Term Program Maintenance contracts for operating plant combustion turbines. Adam facilitated Total Maintenance Service meetings with customers and collaborated with the District Service Office for plant services and outages.

Adam later served as a Service Programs Portfolio Manager at Siemens Energy and was responsible for managing service programs. Most recently, they have been working as the Vice President of Gas Service Operations - West Region at Siemens Energy. In this role, they focus on ensuring safety through protocols, training, and risk management. Adam also builds and maintains strong executive relationships and develops strategies to optimize service operations and drive customer satisfaction.

Prior to their work at Siemens Energy, Adam worked as an Information System Technician at Florida State University's Thagard Student Health Center. In this role, they configured computer systems, repaired hardware and software, and assisted in implementing the pharmacy management system.

Adam Hymel obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Florida State University. Adam attended the university from 2002 to 2007.
