Angel Altavanski

Angel Altavanski serves as the Head of Grid Technologies at Siemens Energy since December 2019, overseeing sales, project execution, and P&L for Grid Technology products and services in Bulgaria. Prior to this role, Angel was a Sales Manager at Siemens, managing similar responsibilities for Transmission products and services from June 2016 to December 2019, and gained valuable experience in Middle & Low-Voltage solutions. Earlier, Angel worked as an Electrical Engineer at Metropoliten EAD, focusing on the maintenance of electrical substations and testing protection relays. Angel holds a Master's degree in Energy Markets and Services from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and two Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution.
