Johannes Schmidt

Johannes Schmidt oversees Global Sales Operations in Finance at Siemens Energy, responsible for supporting finance sales activities globally within the Business Area Grid Technologies since October 2020. Previously, as Vice President of Sales & Business Development in Finance at Siemens Energy, Johannes led business development and proposal management for Transmission and High Voltage Products. With an extensive tenure at Siemens from July 1997 to September 2020, Johannes held multiple leadership roles including Head of Sales & Business Development for Gas & Power, Vice President of Global Operations Americas, and various commercial project management positions in the Mobility Division. Academically, Johannes earned a Dipl-Kfm. in Marketing/Industriebetriebslehre from The Philipp University of Marburg and a Diploma in European Management Science from the University of Kent, in addition to completing an apprenticeship in industrial business management at Siemens S.A. in Lisbon.
