Alvin Tan

Alvin Tan currently serves as the Head of Indirect Material Procurement APAC at Siemens Gamesa since August 2015, overseeing a commodity team responsible for managing indirect material and CAPEX spending across 12 APAC countries and aligning strategies with the global category team. Previously, Alvin held the position of Head of Governance, Processes and Controlling APAC at Siemens Gamesa, leading initiatives related to cost control, reporting, and procurement governance. Prior experience includes roles as Supply Chain Manager at PPG Industries, Sales & Operation Planning System Analyst, and Global Available-to-Promise Coordinator at Lion Co, Demand and Replenishment Analyst at Sigma Pharmaceuticals Limited, and Procurement and Logistic Planner at Synnex Australia Pty Ltd. Alvin holds a Master of International Business and a Bachelor of Computer Science from Monash University.
