Manuel Uribarri Garcia has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management within the energy sector, currently serving as Head of Spare Parts & Supplies and Chief Procurement Officer at Siemens Gamesa since July 2017. Prior roles include Purchasing & SQA Director at GAMESA LATAM and Purchasing Director at GAMESA EOLICA BRASIL. Manuel has also held positions as Indirect Purchasing, Logistic & Construction Global Commodity Manager and Gearboxes Global Lead Buyer at Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica. Earlier career experience includes Project Manager at Gamesa Energy Transmissions and Manufacturing Director at Especial Gear Transmissions. Manuel holds an industrial engineering degree from Universidad del País Vasco, an MBA in business management from INSIDE Universidad Comercial de Deusto, an MBA in competitiveness from Universidad del País Vasco, and recently completed the Leading at the Peak leadership program at INSEAD.
