Product Test Engineer at EVBox

Gerrie Goeree has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. They started their career as a Lab-assistant at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen from July 1981 to December 1982. Following that, they served as an Infantry Soldier in the Ministerie van Defensie from January 1983 to December 1984.

In 1985, Gerrie joined Ericsson and held various roles, including Lab-engineer Process and Analysis from January 1985 to December 1995, Test Engineer Electronics from January 1996 to December 1997, and Support Technician from January 1997 to December 2003. During this time, Gerrie developed and realized production tools and software for PCBA test and adjustment.

From 2003 to 2010, Gerrie worked at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications International AB as an Electronic Designer, ED & PCB. Their responsibilities included creating electronic hardware solutions for new products, implementing design for test and assembly, and realizing test systems in production.

Starting in 2010, Gerrie joined Tonalite as an Electronic Industrialization Engineer. They designed and implemented turn-key test systems in hardware and software and also maintained and serviced these systems globally. Additionally, they worked on solutions to enable measurements in lab environments.

In 2012, Gerrie moved to Plantronics as an Electronic Industrialization Engineer. Their key achievements include introducing the Graphical User Interface (GUI) to operators and integrating data-logging modules into the existing test-systems environment.

Currently, Gerrie is employed at EVBox since November 2018. They hold the position of a Product Test Engineer, responsible for designing and implementing turn-key test systems in hardware and software. They also maintain and service the delivered systems worldwide.

Gerrie Goeree attended Saxxion College Enschede from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Elektro- en Informatietechniek.
