Alexander Hans Vija has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, primarily working for Siemens. Alexander Hans joined Siemens Healthcare in 2001 and held various positions throughout their tenure. From 2001 to 2003, they served as a Principal Research Scientist, and from 2003 to 2006, they were promoted to Senior Principal Research Scientist. In 2006, they became a Senior Manager, Science and Technology, and held this position until 2012. Alexander then took on the role of Director, Research and Clinical Collaboration in 2013. In 2019, they transitioned to Siemens Healthineers as the Principal Key Expert and Head of SPECT Research.
Alexander Hans Vija received their Diplom in Physik from Justus Liebig University Giessen in 1994. Alexander Hans then pursued their M.S. in Physics at the University of Washington from 1994 to 1997. Following this, they obtained their Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Washington, completing the program from 1997 to 2001.
