Joan Yang has extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Joan began their career at Polaroid Corporation in 1992 as a Sr. Manager for Global Sourcing and Contract Manufacturing, where they were responsible for electronics sourcing, contract negotiation, and procurement engineering. In 2003, they joined Siemens as a Corporate Commodity Manager for Strategic Procurement. Joan then progressed through various roles within Siemens, including Director of Strategic Procurement, Director of Supply Chain Category Management, and Vice President of Strategic Procurement. Most recently, they worked at Siemens Healthineers as the Sr. Vice President of Strategic Procurement. Joan Yang has played a significant role in driving efficient procurement strategies and ensuring the smooth functioning of supply chains in the healthcare industry.

Joan Yang completed a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, from 1989 to 1991. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Automation and Management from the University of Science and Technology of China.
