John Kowal

John Kowal serves as the President and Head of the Americas at Siemens Healthineers, overseeing marketing, sales, service, and support operations across North and Latin America. Prior to this role, John held various leadership positions at Varian Medical Systems, including President of the Americas, where responsibility encompassed general management and profitability for a $1.4 billion oncology business. John's career at Varian also included roles as Vice President of North American Sales and Field Vice-President of US Sales, focusing on sales management and strategy. Earlier in his career, John was the National Sales Manager at both Varian and Radionics, managing sales teams and distributors for advanced medical systems. John completed an Executive Development Program at The Wharton School and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
