Subrahmanyam Lanka has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Subrahmanyam began their career in 1989 as an Assistant Manager at Bajaj Auto Ltd. After that, they worked as a Scientist/Engineer at ISRO - the Indian Space Research Organisation. In 1995, they joined Siemens as a Software Architect and later took on the role of General Manager Engineering, Healthcare. From 2006 to 2015, they served as Vice President, R&D, Healthcare at Siemens, where they established offshore development centers and led globally distributed teams for software product development. Since 2015, Subrahmanyam has been with Siemens Healthineers as the Senior Vice President, R&D, leading the development and delivery of digital innovations in the healthcare industry. Subrahmanyam'sresponsibilities include strategy development, digital health platform development, AI-powered solutions, machine learning models, and IoT solutions. Subrahmanyam has also been involved in establishing Agile/Lean practices to optimize product development processes.

Subrahmanyam Lanka has a Master of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a Bachelor of Technology degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. Subrahmanyam also has professional certifications such as SAFe Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc., an Advanced Management Course from Siemens, and General Management training from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Subrahmanyam is currently pursuing Leading Digital Transformation at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
