Alfonso Faubel

Alfonso Faubel joined Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy as the Onshore business unit CEO on July of 2019.

Alfonso looks back on more than 30 years of experience in the automotive and energy industries, and his last position before joining Siemens Gamesa was at Sentient Science, where he was Chief Revenue Officer of Energy & President of Europe.

Prior to this, he worked with Alstom-General Electric as Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing and as Senior Vice President of the Alstom Wind Business, responsible for all activities related to Alstom's onshore and offshore wind business.

Faubel began his career in international industrial sales in 1988 at Ferrex in New York City. He transferred to Accenture and then to Exen before joining Delphi, where he held a number of senior positions in Germany, Mexico, the US and France.

He has a degree in Business Administration and Economics from Richmond, the American International University in London. He has also coursed studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science, INSEAD and the University of Cologne.
