Fangyuan Chang

Fangyuan Chang is a Power Systems Software Developer at Siemens since June 2023, with previous experience as a Senior Power Engineer at ETAP - Operation Technology, Inc., where responsibilities included creating test cases and providing technical support. Prior to that, Fangyuan served as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, focusing on research in power and energy, microgrid control, and stability analysis. A research internship at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories involved designing a simulation platform for AC microgrids and developing fault detection methods. Fangyuan holds a PhD in Power and Energy and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Michigan.
