Daniel Moriarty

Daniel Moriarty has been a Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Siena University since September 2002, where Daniel also serves as the Director of the Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (CURCA). Previously, Daniel held the position of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the same field. Prior to joining Siena University, Daniel was an Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from June 1999 to August 2002, and served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology under Wilfredo Colon. Daniel earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Stony Brook University in 1999 and completed undergraduate studies at Siena University from 1989 to 1993.
