Jim Teresco

Jim Teresco currently serves as the Computer Science Department Chair and Professor of Computer Science at Siena College, where teaching responsibilities include courses such as Operating Systems, Parallel and High Performance Computing, and Data Structures. Research interests focus on parallel and distributed computing as well as computer science education. Previous positions include Associate Professor at The College of Saint Rose and Mount Holyoke College, and various roles at Siena College, including Visiting Assistant Professor and Adjunct Instructor. Jim Teresco has also worked as a ski instructor at Royal Mountain Ski Area and held a consultant position at Clickshare Service Corporation, along with experience as a Principal Software Engineer. Jim Teresco earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and holds master's and bachelor's degrees from Union College.
