Daniel Diaz-Romero is a dedicated educator and coach with extensive experience in both the academic and athletic fields. Currently serving as a full-time faculty member in the Kinesiology department at Sierra College since June 2013, Daniel also holds the positions of Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach for the college football team, along with responsibilities as Film Coordinator. Prior to this role, Daniel was a math teacher at Center High School from August 2013 to June 2020, and taught various math subjects while also contributing as the Varsity Football Offensive Coordinator at James Logan High School from May 2009 to June 2013. Daniel's coaching career began at Woodland High School from 2005 to January 2009. Daniel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Biology from the University of California, Davis, a Teaching Credential in Single Subject - Math and Physical Education from California State University-Sacramento, a Master of Arts in Math Education from Western Governors University, and a Master of Arts in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Central Missouri.
