Scott Munson

Scott Munson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace sector. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer and Senior Program Manager at Sierra Space since June 2021, Scott has previously held various program management roles at Sierra Nevada Corporation, where responsibilities included overseeing the development of Reaction Control Thrusters for the Dream Chaser spacecraft. Prior experience includes over a decade as a Senior Propulsion Engineer at Orbital Technologies Corporation, alongside leadership roles as an Alderman for the City of Monona and a Sergeant in the Wisconsin Army National Guard, where Scott participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Scott holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from the University of Minnesota.
