Marc Lao

Marc Lao has a diverse range of work experience primarily in the field of technical recruiting. Their most recent role was as the Head of People at Sifflet starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Investor and Board Member at 50inTech, focusing on inclusion and equality in the tech industry.

From 2016 to 2023, Marc held the position of Manager, Tech Recruiting at Datadog, where they were responsible for building and scaling HR, recruiting, and engineering teams across Europe. Marc collaborated closely with colleagues in New York to achieve common goals and improve recruiting efficiency.

Before joining Datadog, Marc was a Senior Technical Recruiter at Criteo, where they successfully hired over 30 engineers for various positions within the engineering department.

Marc also has experience as a business developer and technical recruiter at D2SI and ARCTEAM, respectively. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Aston Carter International - Allegis Group, where they recruited over 100 contractors in less than two years.

Marc began their career as a Technical Recruiter intern at MF Conseil and gained valuable experience in that role from 2006 to 2010.

Marc Lao obtained their Master's degree in Business Development from ICD between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, they obtained the AWS Business Professional Accreditation from Amazon Web Services in January 2014.
